ThermoJug:
Exposing your coffee to a direct heat source, such as a hot plate, for too long can cause a breakdown of the flavors. After the water is heated to the correct temperature,
the Technivorm Thermo KB 741 brews directly into an insulated stainless steel 1.5 liter ThermoJug server, which preserves the coffee’s flavors and aroma.
It is recommended that you preheat the server with hot water before use for even better temperature retention.

Controls:
The Technivorm Thermo was designed for simplicity, with only 2 switches. It has an on/off switch located on the base of the machine,
and a switch located on the filter basket which controls the amount of water moving through the grounds.
An orange light located to the right of the on/off switch illuminates when the machine is on. The filter basket switch has 3 positions: the top position is for preparing 6-10 cups,
the middle is for brewing 2-5 cups, and the bottom is to pause the brewing before it is completed.
